His father, Lyndol Hoyt “Woody” Woodruff was a brick mason by trade and started a commercial construction company that built many shopping centers, Nimitz High School in Irving, a public library, a Catholic Church, and many other structures that are still important to the community. Keith began laying brick for his dad in the early 60s when he was 12.
